Shoeburyness, Essex (Britain). A trough brought a widespread snowfall across England and Wales causing significant traffic disruptions. Accumulations included: North Kent: 65 cm (25.6"); Orpington: 45 cm (17.7"); and, Southend: 55 cm (21.7").
